Seven installations, one evening, in the order they are worth seeing.
The West End switches on over about four weeks from early November and the installations are nothing like each other. Regent Street has the angels, Carnaby does something different every year, Bond Street is the expensive one and Annabel's builds a facade you can hear people gasp at. They are all within two miles of each other and almost everyone walks them in the wrong order, into the crowds, at the wrong hour.

Markets, music and the canal, from the station to Primrose Hill.
Camden is not one market. It is six, plus a canal, plus the pub where Blur and Oasis argued and the one where Amy Winehouse drank. We start at the station, walk through the markets as the stalls open, follow the Regent’s Canal past the narrowboats and finish on Primrose Hill with the whole city in front of you. One thread holds it together: Camden had three lives, work, noise and market.

One price for your group.
Every tour is private, so you pay for the group, not per head: one price for up to five people and another for six to eight. Two of you or five, the price is the same.

What is different about a tour with us.
Private, always
Your group and your own guide, never strangers. Up to eight per guide, six at sunrise; a bigger party gets a second guide, so nobody is at the back.

Not a franchise, not a booking platform reselling somebody else’s guide. The person who walks you through a neighbourhood is someone who spends time in it.

We take the photographs
You came a long way and you should not spend it holding a phone at arm's length, or asking a stranger. We shoot you properly as we go, stills and video, and send the files the same evening. It is included on every tour and it costs nothing extra.
Honest about what to skip
We will tell you which paid attraction is worth the money and which one is a queue with a gift shop at the end. That costs us upsell and earns us the recommendation.
