How big are the groups?
Every tour is private to your group: up to eight people per guide, six on the sunrise tour. Bring ten, twenty or a whole company: we add a guide for every eight, so the group never gets too big to hear.
What happens if it rains?
We walk. It is London, if we cancelled for rain we would run four tours a year. We tell you what to wear, and we know where the covered stops are. We only cancel for genuinely unsafe weather, and you get a full refund or a move to another date.
Are the tours accessible?
The best of London in six hours is step-free throughout. The Borough and Bankside tour and the Notting Hill tour are both step-free and can be done at a slower pace. London in a Day is eight to ten miles and is not suitable for limited mobility, but we can build a private version that is. Tell us what you need when you enquire.
Do you take large groups or corporate bookings?
Yes. Private days are priced per group rather than per head, and we run multiple guides in parallel for larger parties. Tell us numbers and dates and we will come back with a price.
What languages do you guide in?
English, Italian, French, German and Spanish. Choose your preferred language when you enquire. For anything else, tell us what you need and we will say honestly whether we can cover it for your dates.
Are entry tickets included?
No, unless a tour page says otherwise. Most of what we walk past is free to see from the outside, and we are straight with you about which paid entries are worth buying.
How do I pay?
Enquire first, by form or WhatsApp. We reply within a working day, confirm availability, then send a secure payment link: card or Apple Pay, through Stripe. Nothing is taken until the date is confirmed.
What is the cancellation policy?
Up to 48 hours before a tour, move to another date free or cancel for a full refund less a £10 admin fee. Inside 48 hours there is no refund, but we will try once to move you. Airport pickups: 24 hours. Tickets we book for you follow the venue’s own rules. Full detail in our booking terms.
Can you combine services?
That is the point of us. Airport pickup on arrival, a private tour on day two, shopping sourced while you are here and shipped after you leave. One WhatsApp thread, one person who knows your plans.
Do you work with visitors from outside Europe?
Yes. A good part of what we do is for people flying in from Africa and the Middle East, including personal shopping and shipping for people who are not travelling themselves.
